Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director/ AVP to drive new business opportunities within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales leadership, business development, and client acquisition, focusing on selling technology solutions and services within the healthcare and life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive sales strategy to acquire new business within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to penetrate target accounts and achieve revenue goals.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within the Healthcare & life sciences industry.
- Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability and long-term client partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, operations, and technical teams, to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competition, and market changes to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports using CRM tools.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Min 10+ years of sales/business development experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry
- Proven success in a sales leadership role with a focus on new client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Experience in handling large enterprise accounts is a plus.
- Strong understanding of healthcare technologies, industry trends, and customer pain points.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
